When did the “war” actually begin?

We are IN a trade war with China. If you want to take it to the next level, revoke all their student visa’s and send those 1 million students back to China immediately. Those people are here to learn from us to make their country a better place. Why would we continue to help them when they continue to steal from us and build militarily against us in the Pacific?
