This is a film that is based on my visit to 14 William Street, Greenock on the last Saturday of August 2019.
No. 14 William Street is a rare survivor. It is Greenock’s auldest hoose. As a survivor, its history hides tobacco trade, slaves and no doubt many other terrible injustices.
This film is for AMS [for seeing the world through a child’s eyes and for turning what he sees into what he feels]
Lost and found at 14 William Street, Greenock.
Music credit: John Grant and Susanne Sundfør, BBC Proms, for ‘Scott Walker Revisited’
