Even though it might not seem so at first sight, wildlife trade is all around us. In fact, most of us are involved in it in one way or the other. Unfortunately, even with the rapid decline of many wildlife species worldwide, the issue of wildlife trade is still a very current one for many countries, and many still support it.

Ahead of the big wildlife trade meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, Born Free’s Head of Policy, Dr Mark Jones explains what the meeting is about and what Born Free’s delegation will fight for in order to protect endangered wildlife species.
