Over the last few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to achieve a dream that’s been years in the making. With the help of an award-winning marketing team, we have recreated our brand and we’re ready for the big reveal!
BEFORE INTRODUCING OUR NEW LOGO, TAGLINE AND BRANDING VISION, WE WANTED TO SHARE A BIT OF OUR BACKSTORY. IT’S DEEPLY PERSONAL, BUT IT SPEAKS TO WHO WE ARE AND WHERE WE’RE GOING.
During winter 2008, Kevin was laid off from his job as a union pipefitter—just months after we had welcomed our second child. Jobs were scarce, the economy was bleak, and we wondered how we would pay our mortgage and feed our family. With no time to waste before the next round of overdue bills, we took a chance and opened Antioch Heating & Cooling from the back of our 1997 Ford Windstar minivan.
Between Kevin’s knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC and my background in the hospitality industry, we were confident we could deliver honest, reliable service to our growing customer base. Armed with QuickBooks and a small Yellow Pages ad, we held our breath. And the phones started to ring.
WE’D ALWAYS PLANNED TO KEEP OUR COMPANY SMALL, BUT LIFE HAD OTHER PLANS.
During 2017, Kevin began experiencing severe back pain. Attributing his condition to old football injuries, the rigors of Marine Corp life and years of skilled-trade labor, we were shocked when doctors diagnosed him with rheumatoid arthritis and a rare, degenerative spinal deformity. We knew Kevin’s health would be compromised if we didn’t hire help, so we took a leap of faith.
In August 2017, we hired our first employee. (It wasn’t as scary as we thought!) Just two years later, we’ve built our team to 10 technicians—and those technicians have become our family. Working tirelessly on the hottest days and coldest nights, they are customer-focused and quality-driven. With the help of these amazing employees, we’ve turned our “little HVAC business” into something far more special than we’d ever dreamed.
TODAY, WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE BIRTH OF COMFORT CAVALRY
This branding vision represents our strength and resilience, and it embodies our desire to be “first responders” who prioritize your safety and guarantee your comfort. When we send in the Cavalry, rest assured you’ll be taken care of—from the first friendly phone call to our meticulous cleanup upon leaving your home.
As we announce our new brand, we owe our customers a debt of gratitude. Without your loyal patronage, friendship and support, our success would be hollow. You are part of the Comfort Cavalry family, and we hope you’ll join us as we embark on this new adventure! We’re growing fast, but we’ll remain connected—to you, our employees and our core values.
