Sosena Solomon worked directly with African immigrants based in Greensboro, NC to create a documentary installation in the Glass Forest. Solomon worked with the North Carolina African Services Coalition (NCASC) to reach out and document the stories of African women that have resettled in the area. Her video specifically captures the story of a human trafficking survivor from West Africa. Solomon also incorporates gold pigment into the walls and ceiling of the Glass Forest to reference the African gold trade.
