2020 Women in Finance Awards Winner: Akshata Puri, Virtu Financial

Since starting her career as a summer intern for ITG in 2008, the winner has steadily climbed the corporate ladder and is now Product Manager and US Head of ATS Venues at a major global electronic market maker. Akshata earned her MBA at University of Chicago Booth School of Business this year, which entailed commuting from New York to Chicago once a week. Her colleagues say she is hard-working and reliable, and Akshata’s always working diligently behind the scenes to make sure the product is working well.
